 Apple Computer: Music DVD
BC Pictures was contracted to produce an interactive music DVD video that features the music group Bomb Chianti.
This DVD utilizes 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound, music videos that contain multi-angles, and subtitles. Also included on this Hybrid DVD disc is an interactive eBook bio in PDF format that allows internet links to companion web sites.
Apple Computer uses this DVD to demonstrate software produced by Apple for the Macintosh.
Programs include:
- Final Cut Pro (non-linear video editing)
- DVD Studio Pro (DVD authoring)
- A-Pac (Dolby Digital audio encoding)

 Aruba DVD: Dawn of a New Era
BC Pictures is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Gold Award at the Canadian Corporate Television Association’s Awards Festival held in Toronto in May, 2000 for this Aruba title.
Dawn of a New Era is likely the first DVD that features the informational tourism aspects of a country.
The DVD is both in English and Spanish, contains an 8 minute overview video of the island, ten mini-sections regarding activities and facts about Aruba, and also a section with a brief video of every major hotel. It is completely interactive, and plays from a set top box or a computer DVD player. |
